Cut to the Continental Baths, where several men in skimpy underwear or towels (cocks flopping out from beneath) are presented dancing. This is one of the highlights of the film, a gorgeous and joyous sequence that gives a sense of community and is vibrantly lit in primary colors, the men's sweaty bodies glistening and the scene charged with energy.

Intercut with the dancing, Jack sits and smokes in silence at the baths, positioned alone but with a very pretty, slender man mysteriously appearing (and disappearing) behind him, observing our hero. Intriguingly, this is the young man from Jack's initial fantasy! This culminates in a charming, sensual cruising exchange, as the two come closer and eye each other, smiling.
