Jayson MacBride started acting at a young age. He was later discovered for modeling by Champion, then moved to New York and worked in theater and had a day job in market research. When he expressed interest in doing porn work, MacBride was contacted by director Tom DeSimone and wound up starring in DeSimone's film Catching Up. MacBride preferred porn films with strong scripts and many of the films he starred in were well-scripted narrative porn films (like Catching Up, Hot House, and A Night at the Adonis).
